I created the ability to incorporate Polywork as a social networking presence on the UpBeat Radio website, specifically user profiles. Given the fact that Polywork is expanding, I thought it would be beneficial to UpBeat users, as registration on both sites is rapidly increasing, as it allows users to exhibit their portfolio and showcase the things they accomplish.

The Polywork icon is an SVG, but I had to digitally edit it using an SVG software (Inkscape) and Visual Studio Code to ensure that it could be generated as a typeface icon for usage on the UpBeat website. I changed the colours, pathways, and object characteristics one by one.

Along with this, I had to test the user experience to check that the icon and profile saving remained functional after adding more code to the existing code, such as front-end code, back-end code, AJAX and scripts.  PHP, HTML, and CSS were the languages I worked with.

The outcome was positive because many individuals wanted Polywork to have a social media presence on UpBeat and it has been done.
