SKALA (2018)

Designing an Interactive Prototype
Redesigning a Product Experience

SKALA is an interactive environment made to distract people. It invites you to stop for a moment in your busy life and just be in the environment. SKALA is designed during the Interactive Environments minor at the TU Delft together with 10 other students. During this project, a fully working version of SKALA has been designed and built in 10 weeks. In the video below you can experience what it is like to walk through SKALA

Within the team I focused on the design of the entire installation and specifically on the "jacobs ladders" which have gone through many iterations before they came to their final form.

I also worked on the production: all 'jacobs ladders' are made with the laser cutter and then glued together by hand. Besides that I have worked on the interaction between the user and SKALA.
