Sometime in 2019, a friend recommended Shane Parish and Farnam Street to me. Amongst the wealth of brilliant content, I found myself drawn to a tool that they developed — the decision journal. I liked it so much that we decided to make a Notion template for it. I also always wanted to start a YouTube channel, so it all came together when we created the template, wrote a blog post, and filmed a walkthrough video. That became the first-ever video on the Optemization channel. Sadly, I haven’t kept up with it, so we’ve posted only a handful of videos but I’m planning to make a comeback soon!
