PTI Mobile Dictation
I briefly explored a concept for a dictation client built for mobile devices. It used a tabbed interface with lists for dictations, patient schedule, options for sending dictations to be transcribed, and general settings.
The center button on the tab bar would open the recorder with basic functionality to create and edit audio files, matching the functionality of the handheld recorders we provided to clients.
At the time, we didn't have the resources to build this into a functioning application. Instead, we decided to use a third-party solution while working to build out other areas of the company in our "2.0" revamp.
