Finished one of the biggest side-projects ever - Sentibots.
Sentibots was inspired by swarm robotics research, we set out to create a drone platform that could assume aerial formations and fly in close proximity without the risk of rotor collisions.
Everything was custom-designed from scratch. The frame was designed and 3D-printed, PCB was fabricated with an onboard Intel Edison processors and ATMEGA-328 flight controller, and code was written in Arduino.
Eventually, we were selected for both the SSEF 2016 finals, and published a conference paper in IRC-SET 2016 Singapore.
