"We need better reporting!" is something we hear from Jira users all the time. Even though Jira provides a number of templates for charts and reports, most teams crave customization to tell the right stories for their organization.

Rather than try to build for the custom needs of thousands of teams (yikes), we decided to empower our users to build their own reports in a tool they already use: spreadsheets.

With the Jira Cloud for Google Sheets app, Jira users can create queries that pull requested data directly into a spreadsheet, eliminating the cumbersome (and error-prone) process of exporting and importing.
