Presentation on Margot Community case study
This was my first-ever case study presentation, where I demonstrated the hi-fidelity prototype by introducing a real character.
Cause for celebration
The TAs commented that I am an excellent storyteller.
Key takeaways
- During the presentation, I gained insights from my classmates about the aspects to cover during a portfolio walkthrough. It involves walking through the design thought process and explaining the "why".
- Initially, I had designed the UI using this trend called Neumorphism. I came across this trend via Dribbble when I started working as a designer. Hence, I thought of applying this trend for my first case study. While Neumorphism looks stunning, it is not necessarily usable. It makes everything look clickable. We as UX designers should live by the motto: "Usability first, visuals later."
