Constructed the improved user flow
After studying the existing flow on the booking process, and payment process, my observation is that the process is lengthy, leading to a high dropout rate. The concept of a middle person coordinating with both parties is unsustainable in the long run.
I crafted the user flow based on the following ideas in my mind:
- Mentee's personal and payment details should be captured during the registration process so that users do not have to fill them up again.
- Mentees can select multiple slots with the mentor in a single transaction.
- Users should receive a confirmation once they purchase the session(s) in Margot.
- We can understand a mentee's triggers and provide rewards accordingly.
The booking process can consist of:
- Mentees opening the mentor's profile, where they can select single or multiple sessions.
- Based on the choice in the previous step, mentees can select the timeslot accordingly and provide a reason for choosing the mentor.
- If the user is logged in, they will be shown the billing page to review.
- Upon confirming, mentees will receive a confirmation email.
