As an associate and software engineer at TealForge, a development firm aimed at startups, I helped design and develop a crowd testing web app testeum, with the added value of having its tests results written to the Ethereum blockchain.
This project was a great opportunity to work with Jhipster, I wasn't found of application scaffolders at first, but I quickly learnt that you can gain a huge amount of time, especially when kickstarting a project.
However this is at the cost of customisation, as our app looked very generic, but was fully functional. I see it as a great tool to prototype products, without the dependency of a thirst party SAAS.
I was involved in React/Redux, J2EE/Bootstrap and Postgres development.
