My girlfriend, Elena, is beginning her phd in phycology this year. We decided to move in together as well as move across the country together. Well, I suppose it's still the Midwest.

The DR is a beautiful country, even if our timing was poor as we left when covid was starting to get serious. Luckily we avoided it and still had a great time.

Amsterdam was a real surprise to me, as I did not know just how beautiful and unique the city was. I highly recommend it to anyone.
