When I was teaching I knew meditation was a skill that I needed, but ironically I always felt too stressed to actually try. Now that I am out of the classroom and my stress levels have gone down, I decided to challenge myself to thirty days of meditation. For the month of November I meditated for at least 10 minutes each day. Little did I know, November was a really difficult month for me with lots of unexpected and unwelcome surprises. I would need meditation more this month than I knew.
