Let me tell you about Justin. We met when he was running the Emerging Citizen Technology office, which he started, at the General Services Adminnistration (GSA). He hit me as an amazingly dynamic, and charismatic, individual who was excited about how emerging technology could impact how government does business. Off and on through his tenure at GSA, I volunteered for many of his agency/industry engagements and came away each time confident in the contribution I was making towards better government and governance.

Justin is currently the Global Head of Public Sector at Twilio Inc., a member of the World Economic Forum, and the Industry Chair for the Internet of Things (IoT) and Smart Cities Working Group for the ACT-IAC Emerging Technology Community of Interest.

Since that time, I continue to have opportunities to interact and work with Justin and always look forward to those engagements. He is a big thinker, always engaging, and wants to hear what you have to say.

As today is Veteran’s Day, it is also appropriate that his episode is available today. As a fellow Air Force veteran, he continues to serve his country as he helps produce products that help government get it done.
