Navigated the difficult task of putting one of my direct reports onto a Performance Improvement Plan.

This was understandably stressful for them, but I made sure to come from a place of empathy and care. We worked out a detailed course for filling in the gaps on their current project and making sure they had the support they need to execute on that plan.
