Started learning Java

Since I want to be really good at foundations, and work more on my engineering skills, one of my next goals is to learn design patterns, data structures/algorithms, and Object Oriented Programming. 

Decided to pick up Java, to have access to a better range of more serious materials, and understand some deeper engineering topics. Turns out, I actually like this language.
