Being LGBTQ+ in tech is sometimes very challenging. DEI is often only performative, if it even exists as a category in the minds of company founders. LGBTQ+ folks can find it harder to move up the career ladder, as many forces at play, some more visible than others, put folks down and push people back.
But many LGBTQ+ folks overcome these odds to build and grow great careers in product and tech.
I'd love to bring these voices together for a broad ranging discussion on the challenges, strategies, and approaches on how to thrive as a queer person in tech. But also to connect, network, and help build community.

I'm based in Berlin, Germany, so I'd look to either organize a physical event here, or a fully remote event!

Hi Jeongwon, I'd love to talk to you about your experience!
Sure! Thanks for opening this discussion here. The thing I learned while running the group, it's hard to encourage people to do something togethe 😂. The fact that group members are queer in tech doesn't guarantee their commitment to the group. As a founder I should have thought more about online/offline meetups or some contents to give them haha. I'm still thinking what to do for the next step 🧐🧐
