Looking back on this week, I was quite invested in the NFT world. The amount of hours that I spend on discord and twitter is insane :) I can't complain, though! I am blessed that I had the opportunity.

That reminded me of a time that I gave classes to artists about how to become full-time with their art. While the course itself was focused on the different ways on how to promote art, specifically paid promotions, the actual discussions in the room always went back to the topic of community. How to build a community and connect to fans, why should someone care for my art, is this the right strategy to win? My answer was always to start with community and then think about sales. Not the other way around.

I am seeing the same dynamics in the current phase of NFTs. The most invested community is the one that currently wins. The one with brand ambassadors, with a mission, with community leads..that is the one that wins. Obviously, there is more to it..but the one that bet early on community engagement is ahead of the projects.

An interesting environment to watch in the future and maybe to learn as well.
