On the 25th of February, I attended the 179th Meetup of Bangladesh Local Guides Hosted by Sajol Kumar Das.
The venue for the event was such an awesome Place. It is the Military Museum of Bangladesh. Also known as Bangabandhu Military Museum.
We reached the location at 3.00 PM in the afternoon. It was a weekday (Friday is the weekday for Bangladesh), and everyone reached early so we didn't have to wait in line.
Then at 3.15 PM the host gave a small speech and started the Photowalk Meetup.
The museum is kind of new and a beautiful one. We saw a lot of things related to the military, air force, and the marines. And clicked some pictures. Learned much information about history. We also saw the gifts sent to the members of the National House of Parliament(Sangshad Bhaban) from different foreign countries and their representatives.
After that, we gather together and took some pictures and had a lot of fun talking. Discussed the community initiatives.
It was getting darker so most decided to leave and then the host again gave a small speech and thanked all the attendees. Some people stayed there and enjoyed the beautiful night lights and they also took a lot of pictures.
Info:
Ticket cost: 20 Taka for each person and for each car/vehicle it is 50 Taka.
NB: Some places might not allow you to take pictures.
