The objective of this project is to develop a machine learning-based intrusion detection system using the random forest algorithm. The system will be designed to detect and prevent malicious attacks on a computer network, such as denial-of-service (DoS), remote-to-local (R2L), user-to-root (U2R), and probing attacks.
