This book came highly recommended and has been a very enlightening read.
It was really eye-opening for me to learn about the kind of impact agricultural policy, land reform, industrial policy and financial systems can have on a country's economic growth. I liked how the author draws comparisons between growing economies in Asia and what makes some more successful than the others. The biggest lesson for me was to learn that developing countries need to address these issues differently from how western developed nations treat them because the dynamics are very different.
