After debating the issues with VR haptics and how to drive immersive experiences, and creating a few preliminary designs, I incorporated Intraverse VR with two friends.
Our mission is to design haptic feedback interfaces to better simulate the virtual shape and weight of virtual objects, utilizing pneumatic soft muscles and restricted operator movement.
Soft muscles of a particularly small size were selected so that operators could overpower the system if needed, and redundant mechanical stops would prevent user harm.
