Welcome, faitful reader,

As a gamer and dedicated game developer, I've been fortunate to traverse in this friendly game development landscape of the Helsinki Capital Region, leaving behind some marks on the world of gaming.

So of my projects and samples from my work 📻

I. From my game studio Heavyweight Rex:

A. Idle WarForge https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M89NpKqJ4Ik&t=11s&ab_channel=ZynisterAndroidGameplay

- In the world, idlings and smiths run a warforge, where they craft meticulous amounts of different war gear, swords, axes, shields and what not

- This was so so educating project to make and our artist Ville completely nailed the visual style, without mentioning the rest of the team who all did good effort in developing the product to markets

- A Hybrid Idle Simulation Game on iOS and Android. Management, level-up progression, and cool-down waiting timers.

B. Card Smash: Tribal Lords

https://fb.watch/lSfprRWYkU/

- The player forms their tribe of various and mystery factions, builds a deck of heroes and cards to take contest against other players online

- This was the studio's first published game, and it was based on my card battler design that I invented in 2016 with the help of our creative lead

- As you can imagine, anyone's first commercial project is the most educating one and often doesn't stand the test of the markets and time. However, the project was not failed and was imprinted in the stone by one of the leading mobile game media's who reviewed the early-stage game, named "Card Smash: Tribes At War" at the time, stating "Surprisingly rich with tactic potential", "We could have ourselves a new card battling contender." So it really was one of the most promising concepts, and it was also featured on the Top-50 Games in Soft Launch list for a long period of time.

- A Synchronous Turn-Based Card Battler Game on iOS and Android. Collecting mechanics and strategic deck-building, including the Player versus Enemy (PVE) and Player versus Player (PVP) gameplay modes.

II. And my references at the web 3.0 games platform startup SisuRace where I was working:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hiKATUjQNjk&ab_channel=SisuRace

- In a very short time, built a strong, growing, and thriving community of enthusiastic gamers by utilizing state-of-the-art audience engagement and community growth methods

- Developed a web platform for mini-games and to connect with AAA-game titles for players to compete in-game challenges for exciting prizes

- Various audience participation models such as tournaments, ambassador program, community progression mechanics, and community events

Both were fantastic companies. Really enjoyed being part of such professional bleeding edge crews and would do it again any day! Kudos, teams! 💎
