Exclusive to our Project Go Dark students, we’re happy to welcome Jhordan Gibbs, Kevin Reese, Greg Burton and Chase Freeman of Milk + Cookies Festival to our Music Industry Pipeline “Executive Series” for our second to last panel.
Milk + Cookies is a music and dessert festival featuring national touring artists and the best local food and dessert selections Atlanta has to offer. Similar to everyone’s favorite snack pairing, Milk + Cookies aims to blend various music genres, tasty food selections, and creative activities to curate a blissful experience.
M+C has built a community of millennials who share an affinity for live performances and are actively consuming music through online streaming sites. We don't wait for the radio to play our favorite songs, we are controlling when and where we hear them. Behind the scenes the M+C team is actively watching trends on streaming sites and social media to make sure we are constantly aligned with our community.
In 2016 M+C Music Festival launched with over 1700 patrons in attendance. In 2017 M+C produced 6 concerts reaching 5000+ attendees. For 2018 we are bringing back M+C Music Festival, concerts and special curated events with a projected attendance of 10,000+ attendees.
