“I’ve been working on the Lava Coffee Club platform for the better part of a year now. It all started with the observation that “fine coffee is the new fine wine”. But beyond the beans, the shops themselves have become gathering points for communities, fostering workspaces, meeting spots, events and dates. Now more than ever, coffee shops need a platform to truly spotlight what they have to offer to the consumer. From their history, to their mission, to their coffee, each shop brings a unique offering. A lot of my progress has been made at New Wave Coffee in Logan Square, and I’m sure it will continue to be one of my base camps for the future. Don’t be afraid to say “Hi!” if you see me!”
