Launch day for Irth App! Irth is founded by Kimberly Seals Allers, the founder of non-profit Narrative Nation, author, journalist and maternal health advocate. I worked with Kimberly and a incredible femme of color team to develop and launch the iOS app.
Irth stands for Birth without Bias, the Irth app is the only app where you can find prenatal, birthing, postpartum and pediatric reviews of care from other Black and brown women. Irth helps Black and brown women and birthing people have a more safe and empowered pregnancy and parenting experience by allowing you to see how other parents of color, just like you, experienced care at a doctor or hospital. Then we turn those collective experiences into meaningful data to push for change within health systems.
