[In-Progress Draft]  Freelance Product Strategy & Hiring

I coached B Lab’s Technology & Program leaders to refresh & re-energize the way the non-profit thinks about software product strategy & development teams.

I guided B Lab product & program managers, designers, & marketers through a transition from an internal, feature-request driven prioritization model to a user-centered, outcome-driven approach focused on achieving Global Objectives set by the non-profit Leadership board.

We conducted interviews with companies that use their tools, partners that help facilitate progress, & internal stakeholders to help us map out the existing user journeys & uncover gaps, pain points, & opportunities in the Certification & Impact Management processes. 

I also drove the hiring process for a full-time Lead Product Manager who now works alongside Technology & Program, driving new software development & enabling product team ICs to adopt a modern product mindset. I worked to transfer as much knowledge as I could while we worked together on the roadmap for the next year+ to address existing user-facing & internal problems while also providing space to innovate on how to truly make the world a better place.
