About two months ago I designed architecture of a new backend for my team to start paying off technical debt in our monolithic system. First step was to extract a specific functionality into a separate service, using Branch by Abstraction pattern. 

Today the team released first version for internal testing, and so far there weren't any bugs at all. I'm very proud of the team.
