A commissioned shot by my local council with a very quick turnaround. Less than 24 hours to take the shot, post-process, print and frame to serve as a gift to a VIP.
I did plan to take the shot using my daily camera, however it isn't the most glamorous of backdrops from eye-level. I opted to use my drone to get this elevated view of the white cottage at sunset, luckily the light was kind that day. This also allowed Carrickfergus Castle to be visible in the distance, and the Knockagh Monument on the hills in the haze of the sun.
I am a stickler for the best image quality possible which is why I was hesitant about using my drone for print photography, but this pit speaks for itself and has definitely changed my perspective (pun intended!).
