It started as a meme when Ryan Swift from Major League Hacking promised to send us all shark stickers if my (at the time non-existent) Guild won Local Hack Day: Share. He foolishly thought that students would prefer to actually seriously focus on development, rather than worshipping a 1 metre long stuffed shark from IKEA. He was incorrect.
