Teaming up with 4 others at MIT Grand Hack, I created Octila Health to reduce readmission rates of inpatient psychiatric hospitals. I personally brought the idea from my own experiences as a patient as well as designed our Figma prototype of a mobile application, while others on my team developed our business plan and go-to-market strategy. We were commended for working to addressing patients' suicidality and risk for readmission.
I have continued to explore this idea since, but pivoted to addressing the problem of monitoring and adhering to outpatient treatment plans, particularly for mental health patients.
