This week I want to share with you all my good friend Roxy. This AMAZING woman not only works for Microsoft as a Customer Success Lead (which she is really good at!), she is also a Councilwoman for the City of Bowie, and sits on the board for the Maryland State Board of Waterworks and Waste System Operators.

Wow.

But my story with Roxy starts almost two years ago when I first met her at Microsoft Ignite the Tour DC in 2019. It was at this event where I brought my daughter, who in the midst of challenges with anxiety, stood up in a room with a bunch of strangers and TOLD everyone about that anxiety because Roxy asked her to. How does that event happen??? You should defintely read my daughters story on the Microsoft Humans of IT Blog.

Since then, Roxy and I have had the opportunity to get to know each other, speak at events together, and drink wine together. I look forward to the years of friendship we have ahead of us.
