Cin7 invited me to run a wellness class for the staff at a local Auckland park.
It was still Level 2 lockdown which meant we had to maintain some distance from each other and only could workout outside in open.( Hence my tangled beard,haha- no haircuts allowed)
The weather was great which was a bonus.
It wasn't a bootcamp but more of an educational movement and mindfulness session.
The class was an hour long, and consisted of a short warm-up, the main workout, and a short cool down and meditation.
The main workout was a circuit of bodyweight exercises that I designed, and the class was open to people of all fitness levels.
I also taught them the importance of belly breathing as it allows us to rest and digest and move away from fight or flight response in times of stress.
