Initially, a specialist from the medical center enters patient data (gender, bad habits, ethnicity, type and stage of cancer, etc.) into a special form. The form also allows for noting activating gene mutations and medications the patient has already used.
Based on the entered characteristics, the medical system scans the database of clinical studies and provides treatment recommendations.
Each recommendation includes the usefulness percentage of the method and a link to the source (article, publication, or doctors' experiences with the proposed method).
The system also notifies doctors about innovations in cancer treatment (new methods tested, comparisons with already known and proven methods). It independently updates the database. Additionally, the system suggests experimental therapy for patients with poor prognoses.
The final decision, of course, rests with the treating physician, but our development ensures the specialist is fully informed about trials of antitumor drugs and treatment methods for various diseases, thus enhancing treatment effectiveness.
