I fully managed this project development.
I communicated with the client, gathered technical requirements, wrote documentation, and planned and reviewed sprints with the team.
First, all technical documentation was studied, and the basics of combine harvester operation were mastered.
Next, 3D models of the environment (field) and an accurate replica of the harvester were created.
The next stage involved recreating all the processes of operating the harvester. The software was integrated with real harvester control elements: steering wheel, pedals, and control unit. Thus, the operation of the harvester in the simulator is identical to real life.
The entire simulation process is displayed on a large screen. The complex machine performs the functions of three simple devices: a reaper, a thresher, and a winnower.
The simulator includes 10 types of tasks, simulations of various weather conditions, day and night changes, error monitoring, and performance statistics collection.
As a result, we created a full-fledged software and hardware complex for training on operating a grain harvester.
