Built and launched a website that unbundled 'Data is Beautiful' from Reddit. Because we love that subreddit and thought it deserved it's own little shrine on the Internet. Didn't seem to fly, couldn't get the distribution hack via Reddit to work well enough. Snazzy name though :)

Lessons learnt: 1) not easy to piggyback off Reddit for cheap distribution, 2) focus on image quality, our provider was a bit rubbish; 3) finally learnt how to build a half-decent React website; 4) GCP is infinitely better than AWS
