On Friday, February 10, I gave my first talk in front of a vast audience, of about 1000 people, at a huge conference at the Vue.js Amsterdam 🤯
This talk looks at the evolution of web rendering modes and what the Jamstack movement is all about. I built a demo project to show how a static site generator and a Headless CMS can be combined to create dynamic and engaging stories while maintaining a static site's performance and scalability benefits.
They learned about the advantages and limitations of each rendering mode and gained a deeper understanding of how to use Jamstack to build powerful and dynamic storytelling experiences.
Although the suffering of thinking about going out on that stage was big that day, it was well worth it. I received a lot of support from the speakers, the audience, and the organizers, and many people came to give me feedback about the talk and to congratulate me. I felt part of an incredibly welcoming community!
