Designed a prototype
Creating a 12v battery input "switch" with a:

  • PWM Solar Controller:
Solar Controller with 60 volts / 30 amp input with lightning protection, over-voltage protection, over-current protection, and over-temperature protection.

  • Two step-up converters:
First step-up converter:
12 volts input - 48v output 10 amp.

Second step-up converter:
12 volts input - 24v output 10 amp.

  • Two step-down converters:
First and second step-down converter:
12 volts input - 12/9/5 volts output 20 amp.

  • battery charger controller using a power supply:
16 volts input - 13 to 15 volts (configurable) output, 30 amp.

  • Two 10/100/1000 switches:
With selectable POE output on first step-up or second step-up and 4 100/1000 fiber optic output with 2 type A and 2 type B.

  • Manageable with info about the outputs and inputs via ethernet with connection to the server.
