"How you handle your own time, in my view, is the single most important aspect of being a role model."
Book 50: 'High Output Management' by Andrew S.Grove. This book came with recommendations from John Doer and Ben Horowitz. Although this book was first published in 1983, it's still a timeless classic. Andrew Grove was CEO of Intel for 11 years between 1987-1998, and during that time, he provided on average an annual return of more than 40 percent to his shareholders.
Here are some of my takeaways:
🚀You must continually dedicate yourself to retaining your individual competitive advantage.
🏗 Detect and fix any problem in a production process at the lowest-value stage possible.
🚧 Delegation without follow-through is abdication.
💡 Training is quite simply one of the highest-leverage activities a manager can perform.
🎯 Ask yourself: What do I have to do today to solve or, better, avoid -tomorrow’s problem?
