Skype for your mobile
With the the proliferation of low powered featurephones at the time, I was tasked as the interaction designer for the first widely adopted mobile application for Skype; a lightweight J2ME client Nokia and Sony Ericsson featurephones.
Focusing being an extension of the desktop experience, as opposed to being completely full featured, myself and a visual designer were able to ship a fast, simple product that played the to common UI themes of the day - using left and right softkeys with custom drawn menus.
