https://www.mriinstitute.ca The MRI Institute for biomedical research is a Canadian Federal not-for-profit organization focused on fundamental and applied research in magnetic resonance imaging. This includes developing MR sequences, data processing, data analytics, human validation and statistical data analysis and artificial intelligence model development. Medical applications include stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI), and neurodegenerative diseases which require the quantification of cerebral iron deposition and venous oxygen saturation. The purposes of the corporation are: a) fundamental research in magnetic resonance imaging and related fields; b) research publications, lectures and other presentations; c) training of scientists through internships, postdoctoral fellowships, lectures and other activities that might be associated with teaching institutions; and d) promotion of general scientific education by participation in workshops, science fairs, and other available mechanisms.
