Hi there! My name is Brighton, and I'm a queer, disabled creative living on the coast of Maine. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Illustration from the Maine College of Art & Design ('19) , and while illustration and design are the foundations of my skill set, I'm also a writer/ essayist, an editor, and content creator. Plus, I run my own small business, BrightWorm Studio & Press, where I sell my original illustrations and products.

In my many fields of creative work, what I've come to value above all else is authenticity. If you're committed to showing who you are (especially your "flaws") and what you truly value through your work, you'll not only reach an audience, but make them feel seen, and not alone. Don't make yourself into something you're not just to make it to the top— don't be afraid the be unlike anything they've ever seen.
