As part of the wildly successfull Stillfleet kickstarter campaign, I wrote a short "mini-venture" that was derived from the (much) larger campaign module titled The Rain Thieves.
This mini-venture is a stand-alone, single session, venture intended to tease some of the setting features from The Rain Thieves without spoiling content.
I set it specifically in a part of the module setting that players are less likely to encounter; the module setting is massive (in-game, it is nearly the size of New Jersey, and the text itself is ~80 pages written). In playtesting, the players would rarely venture to this part of the "rock" (planet), so there is some nice complementary interplay happening here.
While I was the principal writer and designer for this venture, specifically, I could not have done it without the guidance, edits, and thoughtful feedback of Wythe M. (Stillfleet principal game designer / creator) and Stephen A., the lush and at times terrifying artwork of Ethan G., and the stellar layout work of Kae (Sunaree P.) and Erich L. (Names abbreviated until I can get their consent / preference)
This was a thrilling, challenging (and at times frustrating), but ultimately incredibly satisfying project to undertake, at all levels. I am elated to share it with you all.
