I am the Education and Public Engagement Manager for the HEA-funded Cyber Skills project based at Munster Technological University. In this role I organise events and create content to improve cyber security understanding and practices in Ireland.

I recently graduated from my PhD in Energy Engineering which focused on how European Policy will influence the development of a renewable gas industry in Ireland.
Throughout my PhD I was an active science communicator, creating social media content such as Dance your PhD, and participating in competitions and open days. 

Prior to undertaking my PhD, I was based in Lebanon as part of the UNICEF co-ordination team responding to the Syria Crisis. In my early career I worked as an engineer and transport planner in both public and private sector organisations.
