Over the summer, I had the pleasure of interviewing Ana Santi, editor, writer, and brand storyteller, about her latest book for Out of the Clouds.
Ana first shares the standout influences in her life, including what brought her to a career in journalism. Of course, I was very keen to ask her about “Three Things to Help Heal the Planet” and the important topics that are covered across the 21 essays that make up the book, as well.
Ana discusses how she worked with global experts to gather their ideas on the tangible, everyday choices at our fingertips that can make a difference in the pursuit of protecting the planet. As she goes on to explain, these lifestyle changes are intended for ‘people who have choices’ — from the clothes they wear and food they eat to the institutions they support. If you are in such a position, I’m sure you will embrace the book’s teachings with open arms, especially given how helpless we can be made to feel when confronted with the climate crisis. She also has some ideas, thanks to book contributor Jennifer Martel, for how to be better ancestors for future generations (doesn’t that sound nice!).
A thought-provoking, enjoyable interview that will hopefully leave listeners with the desire to both read the book and, if they have the choice, do their bit to help heal the planet. Happy listening!
