Last week I went live with a new interview on Out of the Clouds, the podcast, with my friend and super brand marketer turned naturopathic nutritionist (quite the polyworker) Neil Bridgeman.
We met a bunch of years ago, through mutual friends Emma and Lupe, when all three of them were working at Net-a-Porter.com, the online startup (then) that paved the way for luxury ecommerce.
We’ve kept in touch over the years, and reconnected most recently when I picked up on a vibe (so to speak), that Neil was moving in a new direction.
We hopped on a call right before I launched the podcast and it turns out that indeed, Neil was in the process of studying to become a naturopathic nutritionist. Since we always have lots to talk about, especially with the two of us having dual careers and pivots in our recent past, it felt like a natural step to have him on the podcast.
I loved our conversation. We talk quite a bit about fashion, burnout, anxiety and the importance of nutrition to promote wellness, or in certain cases, replace medication altogether (I go on quite a bit about that myself!). Neil also speaks very eloquently about the reasons why yoga is so beneficial to our wellbeing, I’ll be quoting him regularly going forward.
I hope you enjoy this wide-ranging chat. Happy listening! ✨ link below✨
