An old friend wanted to get out of the tech job that he was previously in and move into the world of web development. He had experience writing code at his previous job, but didn't have much direction on where to go with web development.

We worked together, building projects and having weekly check-ins and performance updates, and I'm happy to say that he now has a job in the web development world making a good bit more money than he was previously, with a much better work-life balance.
