The Situation:
Prepay Nation wanted to offer its customers a sleek one-stop shop for topping up their prepaid mobile and landline service. To simplify the payment process, it needed an easy-to-navigate platform for its customers to add credit or a data plan to any TelEm prepaid phone anywhere in the world.
Our Approach:
PrePay Nation hired Valere to design and then develop a modern mobile app template for iOS and Android. Not only was Valere tasked to build an app scalable to millions of customers, but it would also have to be slick and engaging. Additionally, the app needed to be designed for future white labeling, meaning the app could be templated and sold to each provider who can insert their branding and logos within the app. This template would allow PrePay Nation to quickly create multiple branded apps.
The Valere Team deployed a designated team of software engineers to use React Native and Laravel to create a mobile app that is “containerized,” accommodating different branding designs. Development was organized in a series of sprints, from discovery, design implementation, flow completion, sandbox testing, and beta testing. Key features include mobile, email, social sign-up/log-in, forget the password, social feeds, push notifications, retrieving account balances, and purchases.
Results:
Their flagship app TelEm received raving reviews on the App Store from its users across the world and PrePay Nation was able to partner with many telecommunications providers after partnering with Valere. Throughout the process the client highly enjoyed Valere’s responsiveness and ownership, noting that “Valere take ownership and want the project to succeed”.
