Final Year Project - Synthesis and Characterisation of Delaffosite

The research so far discussed about bimetallic system such as FeCu, FeCr, Fe Al and Fe Zn combination at nano scale in powder form. The present work focusses in the development of powder with bimetals incorporated in powder form and its application in electrochemistry. Delafossite is a mineral that belongs to the oxide family and has a unique crystal structure. It has gained significant attention in recent years due to its potential applications in environmental applications and electronic devices. Delafossite is a family of oxides with the general formula AB O2, where A and B are metallic cations. The most well-known delafossite is CuFeO2, which has received much attention due to its unique properties and potential applications in various fields. Delafossite-type oxides have a flexible chemistry, variability of size and valence charge at sites of A and B cations, enabling diverse technicalĀ applications. At last we successfully synthesised the Delafossite compound which will be able to reduce the MB toxic from water.
