Like everyone else in digital marketing, I've been following Scott Brinker's Marketing Technology Landscape for years. I'm still blown away by how many kinds of tools are out there in everything from automation, email, CRM, chatbots, analytics and way (way) more.
But like many of my fellow marketers, I’ve always struggled to make sense of this massive ecosystem of tools and vendors.
I didn’t know how to choose the right solutions for the job at hand, whether or not those systems would integrate with each other and, in summary, how to build the optimal tech stack for my company or my clients. The spectrum of alternatives and combinations is just overwhelming.
So in 2019 I decided to do something about it and started building Martechbase: a one-stop shop for SaaS research, discovery and management, helping marketing professionals make smarter technology decisions.
Martechbase was my first project with nocode. The site was built entirely on Bubble without a single line of code.
