In 2015, I was lucky enough to enter a gallery internship in northeast Germany through the WorkART Kunstverein Fellowship program at UMN Twin Cities. I was stationed at the Kunstverein Schwerin, a lovely gallery set in a power station in the capital city of the state of Mecklenberg-Vorpommern. While there, I assisted with PR and event marketing, gallery maintenance, gave a talk about my artistic practice to the community, and enjoyed a fair amount of cheese-and-mustard roll sandwiches in the shadow of a castle.
