My very first conference talk was at NEJS, titled "Delicious JavaScript: Delectable Explanations of the Power of JS". It was a life-changing experience and I have the welcoming Nebraska JS community to thank for that (even with my first technical demo glitch!).

I enjoyed teaching, public speaking, meeting with other developer communities, and traveling so much that I quit my job to pursue more speaking events and create more LinkedIn courses!
